Mark Anthony (also spelled Marc) (born 24 March 1967) is a former pornographic actor appearing in gay pornography, and also Mr Gay UK heat winner of Club X Cardiff 1993. He had a muscular physique from his Borstal training as a teen and the "intense training" of the Army Cadets, which contributed to his popularity in Britain.[1]

A self-described "juvenile delinquent," Anthony spent time, between the ages of thirteen and seventeen, in detention centers.[1]
Mark later moved to Earl's Court in London. He got married, and had two children, but was shortly in trouble with the police again, and was found guilty of grievous bodily harm. Imprisoned for 18 months, several encounters with other inmates led him to realize that he was in fact gay.
Released from prison, he acknowledged his sexuality to his wife. He then joined an escort agency. He was dancing at the gay nightclub Heaven when he was introduced to the gay photographer Jay Eff. This was the start of an enduring and successful friendship and business partnership. Eff put him on the amateur and professional gay strip circuit, also entering him into the Mr Gay UK beauty contest in 1993, where he won the Cardiff heat.
Mark's film career started in 1993 in Sitges, near Barcelona, where he starred in the first production of the softcore porn studio Man For Man. Several productions followed, including two sex education and awareness videos. In 1995, he appeared in the Chris Newby film Madagascar Skin with John Hannah. This was followed by the BBC TV series Gaytime TV in 1996 where he provided a weekly workout. However further mainstream work was not to follow.
His first taste of hardcore porn came when he was flown to Miami to work with the director Kristen Bjorn. With the renowned director, he made his name as a gay porn sensation by performing as an eager bottom in one of two very successful films, A World of Men and The Anchor Hotel(bottom).
Mark then moved into more fetish-based films with the company Hot House Entertainment, but he felt frustrated that he was always cast in the "top" role when he felt more comfortable as the "bottom." After a few years of hiatus, Mark returned to the porn industry in 2002 and again had the opportunity to work with Kristen Bjorn in The Isle of Men. The next year, he worked with a fetish-based company Triga Films as a bareback bottom.
Shortly afterward, Mark was diagnosed HIV positive. He became addicted to drugs and served four months in prison for a drug and psychosis-induced air rage incident on a transatlantic flight.
It was not until 2004 that he began a course of treatment for his drug addiction. Away now from the porn scene, his ambition is to become a chef and, in his own words, "a better father."[2]
